Sportliches

Real generosity toward the future lies in giving it all to the present. (Albert Camus)

Act as if it were impossible to fail. (Dorothea Brande)

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage. (Anais Nin)

Don’t fight forces, use them. (Buckminster Fuller)

The harder I practice, the luckier I get. (Gary Player)

Have no fear of perfection, you will never reach it. (Salvador Dali)

Lack of fairness to an opponent is essentially a sign of weakness. (Emma Goldman)

Either I will find a way, or I will make one. (Philip Sidney)

Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience. (Paul Coelho)

The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it. (Michelangelo Buonarroti)

Alles könne man verlieren,
Wenn man bliebe, was man ist. (Goethe)

Tolle Liste! I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.“
